My work begins and ends with drawing. That drawing is a gestural action that moves from the pulsing of the heart and the rhythm of the breath, into the hand. This rhythmic gesture is therefore a memory of the pulse of my life that fills the paper or canvas. From this, all my work evolves.

Art Edit and Interior Design, recognised this core feature of my practice, placing me within "Best of Patterns" in the Spring 2023 edition.
